Allobarbital
[CAS Number 52-43-7] Allobarbital, also known as allobarbitone, is classified as a barbiturate. Primarily used as an anticonvulsant, Allobarbital is now used to treat insomnia and anxiety and is sold under brand names such as Dial and Cibalgine (in combination with aminophenzone). Additionally, Allobarbital can be used to boost the activity of analgesic drugs.
