Alprazolam
[CAS Number 28981-97-7] Alprazolam, sold under the trade name Xanax, is a triazolobenzodiazepine agent thought to enhance the activity of specific neurotransmitters in the brain. It is used to treat anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and anxiety caused by depression. Recently, Alprazolam has been increasingly used as a date rape drug and a drug of abuse.
