Cocaethylene
[CAS Number 529-38-4] Cocaethylene is the ethyl ester of benzoylecgonine and a cocaine metabolite formed as a result of the simultaneous ingestion of alcohol and cocaine. The resulting formation of cocaethylene causes enhanced euphoria, increased heart rate, and plasma cocaine concentration. Cocaethylene is available as reference material (bulk powder and/or solution) and as calibrated, Ready-to-Use, certified reference material (CRM).
